Birdfair 2019

As in previous years, I will be attending Birdfair 2019 on Friday 16 August and Saturday 17 August. I’ll be on the on the Wildlife Worldwide Marquee 6, Stands 25-26, promoting my South Luangwa Wildlife Safari in Zambia departing 15 November 2019.

Birdfair 2019

Birdfair is an international wildlife event held at the Rutland Water Nature Reserve. Rutland is the smallest county in England, measuring just 16 miles by 16 miles. At the county centre lies Rutland Water, an internationally famous nature reserve providing one of the most important wildfowl sanctuaries in Great Britain and holding in excess of 25,000 waterfowl.

Birdfair 2019However, if you’re not into birds don’t be put off by the name. It’s not only about birds! Although there is a significant birding contingent, Birdfair is truly a celebration of all wildlife. Think of it as Europe’s largest wildlife festival and you won’t be disappointed.

As well as the many exhibits, there are book signings, fundraising activities and lectures throughout each day from a wide variety of speakers, including wildlife celebrities Simon King, Angela and Jonathan Scott, Chris Packham and Nigel Marvern. Birdfair is a wonderful experience for all wildlife lovers and offers something for everyone. It’s well worth a visit.

Wildlife Art SafariI’ll be busy sculpting a white rhino on the Wildlife Worldwide stand, so please come along and say hello, as I can sculpt and talk at the same time! As well as demonstrating my animal sculpture, I’ll be on hand to tell you all about my Wildlife Art Safaris.

Hope to see you there. But, as always, you can contact me any time for more information about my animal sculpture and animal sculpture workshops.
