India Art and Photo Safari departing 9 March 2018
from £5295
Join me and acclaimed wildlife photographer Nick Garbutt, in the steps of Rudyard Kipling, on this once-in-a-lifetime India Art and Photo Safari in the world class Pench and Kanha National Parks.
Departing 9 March 2018 for ten days of wildlife photography, art and sculpture, this tour combines morning and afternoon vehicle safaris (when light conditions are at their best) with practical demonstrations and tuition in the field. Participants can then interpret into photos, sketches and sculptures. Nick and I will be on hand throughout to provide expert guidance and tuition.
Starting in Pench, we will explore its quieter corners dominated by teak forests covering rolling hills, before continuing to a delightful lodge on the southern edge of Kanha National Park. Kanha provides one of Central India’s finest all-round wildlife experiences, and is home to wild dogs (dhole), sloth bears and leopards, as well as tigers and also gaur, chital and sambar.
This is a rare opportunity to join an art safari workshop in India and will be the only art safari workshop I run in 2018. No-one can fail to be inspired by the incredible sights and sounds of India. The process of immersing yourself in your art for a prolonged period will yield incredible results and help you take your skills to a completely new level.
I have been involved with a lot of workshops and safaris over the years, but this promises to be an exceptional trip. Demand for places is likely to be high, and this trip is limited to just 10 participants, so early booking is recommended.
