A unique animal sculpture workshop in the heart of Italy

We are very excited to announce we have teamed up with the International Center for the Arts (ICARTS Italia) based in the magnificent well-preserved Umbrian hill town of Monte Castello di Vibio in the heart of Italy to offer an exciting new animal sculpture workshop.

Our in-depth animal sculpture workshop will allow you to immerse yourself in your art. Nick will demonstrate the importance of observation, show you how to make an
emotional connection with your subject and realise your own creative vision. Our extended workshop format allows plenty of time for instruction and practical work.

Under Nick’s expert guidance, you will make your own animal sculpture. Combining a mix of one-to-one and group demonstration and tuition, Nick will teach you building techniques and help you hone your modelling skills. No prior experience is needed and all the tools and materials you’ll need are provided.

From our base in the historic Umbrian hill town of Monte Castello di Vibio we will also take time to explore the local area, its history, culture and landscape. Throughout the workshop you will enjoy the Center’s comfortable accommodation, welcoming staff and exceptional Italian cuisine.
