We are delighted to launch our new range of Bronze Miniatures with After the Chase, a charming bronze whippet dog sculpture depicting this elegant and graceful animal at rest. Nick has always been drawn to whippets for their beautiful form, loving nature and vulnerability. The whippet is a contradiction; a dog capable of explosive speed and agility with the ability to flip the switch and fall into a deep sleep, something all whippet owners will be able to relate to. These exquisitely detailed bronzes are cast by the craftsmen and women at Castle Arts Foundry in Stroud, here in the UK. Every detail from the paws to the eyelashes is patiently captured.

After the Chase is released in a limited edition of 100 pieces. Each sculpture comes wrapped in natural padding and is shipped in a bespoke presentation box with a signed certificate of authenticity. We carefully pack the presentation box into an outer shipping box ready for inland and international tracked signed delivery. We have just 15 pieces available now at a special introductory price direct from the studio in time for Christmas. Don’t miss out. Contact us now to order.

After the Chase is also available in a full-size limited edition.

Bronze Miniature Animal Sculpture

Limited edition of 100

Traditional bronze casting is a highly skilled and time consuming process. First Nick meticulously sculpts the animal in clay. A wax model is produced from the original sculpture and used to create a mould. A new wax model is required for each sculpture in the edition, as the wax is burned away in the casting process. Nick checks and refines each wax model personally. Large sculptures must be cast in sections and welded together. Once cast, the piece must be finished and patinated. Whilst expensive, bronze casting produces animal sculptures of wonderful depth and detail. These are true investment pieces to treasure and pass down through the generations.
