Nick leads international art safaris through Wildlife Worldwide, a specialist wildlife holiday tour operator with over 25 years’ experience, and runs her own UK-based animal sculpture workshops near her studio in Devon.
Art Safari Holidays
Joining a wildlife safari is a magic experience, one that stays with you long after you have returned home. Nothing compares to the thrill of observing wild animals in their natural environment.
Combining the safari experience with an animal sculpture workshop inspires a new appreciation of wildlife, as it relies on careful observation and interpretation of the animals and their behaviour in the wild. Joining an art safari allows you to immerse yourself in your art, really develop your skills, and take your sculpture to a whole new level.
I am just writing to say a really big thank you for the excellent course. I thoroughly enjoyed my three days in Devon and you taught me so much in a very short time. Your animal knowledge, sculptural expertise and enthusiasm combined to make it an inspiring course.
UK-Based Animal Sculpture Workshops
If you’re in the UK, or planning to visit, why not join one of Nick’s UK-based animal sculpture workshops? Run over three days in the rolling hills of West Devon on the fringes of the Dartmoor National Park, these workshops provide a great introduction to animal sculpture.
As well as producing your own animal sculpture, you’ll learn about the observational and modelling skills that Nick uses in her own work. No prior experience is required and we supply all the clay and modelling tools you will need during the workshop. Nick also offers the option to have your work fired at her studio in Devon after you have completed your workshop.
